The SAS utilises Nanotechnology to create the best and lightest crampon on the market. Weight is reduced without any sacrifice to functionality, Nano technology uses a number of synthetic materials all designed to work together to optimize performance. The SAS is remarkably light with the remarkably strong equator and the remarkably sharp points. The remarkably sharp points and the refined conical shape preserve the anvil shape and optimal purchase on hard snow. Highly streamlined and with a slight cant, the SAS stays seated in the boot for a more secure grip. The anvil shape preserves the anvil shape and maintains the SAS overall shape. The SAS attaches to the boot with a simple metal clip and the shock-absorbing heel strap is tied to the boot with a simple leather strap. The harness features a fast-clip connection in the rear and the harness strap can also be interchanged with a quick-cinch buckle for fast and secure attachment to the boot. One pair required for summit push. Semi-automatic (suction & tension control) recommended for difficult summit approaches.
